At the start of this new year, I’m so happy to share with you the designs that I created for the 2022 Evertote / Roxy Floss Co / Modern Folk Embroidery Holiday Countdown SAL! The main design and the bonus design are now both separately available as a PDF from my site!
First up, there’s A Frisian Band Sampler
This pattern was the main design and was released during a period of 25 days in December 2022. You now get the full design (including pattern keeper compatible file) as a PDF.
On the 25th day stitchers also received a bonus chart in their box – the pattern “Dream of a Winter Garden“.
This pattern was designed with some of the remaining flosses in mind – but keeping in mind that there most likely wouldn’t be enough floss, so you have to get creative and use some of your own flosses! I really love how on antique samplers girls would just take little remnants of floss and make do with the colours they had, and get creative when they ran out of colours. Dream of a Winter Garden was designed with this in mind – it’s a great way to use up some remnants of floss, or perhaps play with some new colours! Caroline from Evertote in Canada has some stunning Roxy Floss Co colours in her shop, which I would highly recommend checking out.
