Description

With its huge expanses of forests and wilderness, it isn’t surprising that traditional Swedish crafts depict the wildlife around them. Deer and other animals are often seen on them, and I found one cushion in the collection of the Trelleborgs Museum in southern Sweden that really caught my eye. This one had a deer surrounded by a wreath of leaves and flowers, which I used as the starting point for my design.

This pattern comes with a free bonus alphabet sampler, featuring a full alphabet and number set, so you can fully personalise your pattern – or stitch the bonus sampler on its own!

This pattern measures 161 crosses in height and 255 crosses in width.Stitched over two threads on 32 count linen, it would approximately measure 10” by 16” (25.5 by 40.5cm).
