TECHNICAL DETAILS

This design has 2650 crosses, 91 crosses high, and 63 crosses wide. It features only full crosses and no specialty stitches. The graph below gives size- and floss estimates for a wide range of materials. Floss calculations are based on working with two strands on 28- to 36-count linen (14- to 16-count aida). Higher counts use a single strand. You are free to stitch with as many strands as you like.
On the last page of this booklet, you will find a bonus alphabet and numbers: feel free to personalise your pattern as you see fit. For example, you could place a year at the top of the house (removing the snow flakes around the roof area to fit the numbers).

As this is a monochrome design, you are free to select any thread and linen of your liking. Evertote in Canada has a fantastic selection of linens and floss. For the linen, Porcelain is close to the artwork.
