Description

Here are four cute bird pincushions – some fun projects to stitch inbetween a larger project, or perfect for those learning to cross-stitch! These four pincushions are all different in size and pattern, but all feature some cheeky little birds. Sizes are mentioned for 32ct linen, under each of the patterns.

I stitched my pincushions on 32ct Belfast Linen, “Natural”, by Zweigart. These would look lovely stitched as monochrome pincushions with any of my embroidery wool, also available in the shop.

Below you can find the names and sizes for each of the patterns:

Two Birds and a Flower: 53×83 crosses – On 32ct linen this would measure approx. 3 1/4” by 5 1/4” (8.5 by 13.5cm)
Three Little Birds: 42×70 crosses – On 32ct linen, this would measure approx. 2 5/8” by 4 3/8” (6.5 by 11cm)
Two Peacocks: 47×87 crosses – On 32ct linen this would measure approx. 3” by 5 1/2” (7.5 by 14cm)
Bird and Wreath: 52×52 crosses – On 32ct linen, this would measure approx. 3 1/4” by 3 1/4” (8.5 by 8.5cm)
