Dear Jacob: I am so homesick right now I can scarcely bear it! Will googlestreetwalk myself down Fossgate in just a minute, but wanted to thank you for reminding me of one of the loveliest streets in the world. While we've only been to York a few times it has wrapped itself around our souls. So thank you for the shop notice and for the yearlong sampler. I am stitching on 32 to the inch Edinburgh linen in a mix of grey stranded cotton and five or six blues - the grey as a constant and the blues randomly selected. Sounds a bit odd but it gives a nice mottled, faded look without looking beyond the thread stash. Will send pictures when the camera/computer chap gets to it. Best regards, Charlotte in California
