Description
The Biedermeier style is still attached to the lovely bouquets of flowers tied in concentric circles. For this cross-stitch pattern the basis was such a bouquet, with a simple but decorative edge around the border.
This medallion measures 89 crosses in both width and height. Stitched over two threads on 32 count linen, it would approximately measure 5 ½” by 5 ½” (14 by 14cm). Make sure to check out the rest of my shop to discover some high quality embroidery threads and fine linens.
I stitched mine with Dark Raspberry threads on 32 count Flax linen.
This pattern would be wonderful stitched as a pincushion, but I also think it would make for a great central panel in a patchwork piece!
