When researching the textile arts of the Nordic countries, you can’t escape the themes of deer and stars (sometimes called åttebladrosa, or 8 leaf rose). For this design I used both stars and deer.

This pattern measures 161 crosses in height and 257 crosses in width. Stitched over two threads on 32 count linen, it would approximately measure 10 1/8” by 16 1/8” (25.5 by 41cm).
