I love the look of cross stitch over one thread, but I’ve never tried it. It’s sharper… almost looks like petite point. When I go to the cross stitch show every year, I always visit this designer: http://shop.theheartscontent.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=61 She does intricate samplers (lots done in red) with tiny cross stitches over one thread. They’re so beautiful. Have a look if you get a chance. I think you’ll like her work too.
