Jacob you made my day when I read your blog about Zweigart. I just picked up cross stitch again after many years and I am loving it. I have used some pieces from Zweigart and they make beautiful linens.
I was more than thrilled when you mentioned where the shop is located as I am moving to Stuttgart soon and can’t wait to visit their shop.

Hello Lynn – you’ve welcome! It was lovely walking around and getting a real sense where our lovely stitching materials are from, and how they’re made. Zweigart definitely does do a 36 count: it’s called “Edinburgh”. They do 20 count, 28, 32, 36, 40, and a couple of higher count linens as well. The 36 count linen is often not carried by many shops as a lot of stitchers go for the 32 or 40 count. I do think the 36 count is getting more popular though!

Have just discovered your blog as my dormant cross stitch mojo is stirring! What a fantastic trip you had. It looks an amazing place and as a weaver I was really interested in all the looms too.
