Description

This listing is for a digital PDF file. Immediately after purchase you can download your file, in either Letter format (used mainly in Canada, the US, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and the Philippines) or A4 (rest of the world).

This cheerful little design was inspired by some antique embroidery I purchased recently, containing various vases of flowers. It inspired me to design this vase with roses and thistle and a little finch on the vase itself.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

This design measures 73 crosses in width and 121 crosses in heighth and has a total of 3677 crosses. Stitched over two threads on 32 count linen (or over one on 16 count Aida), it would measure approximately 4 1/2” by 7 1/2” (11.5 x 19cm). When working with two pulled strands of floss from an 8-yard hank you’d need a minimum of 3 hanks to complete this project.

You can choose to stitch this design with one colour as charted, or you can use a variety of colours. Although you are free to pick any colour and cloth combination, I can highly recommend my favourite new floss company, Leo&Roxy Floss Co in Canada, exclusively available through www.evertote.com
