It’s been a funny old day here in York: we’ve had sun, rain and everything inbetween. Whilst embroidering one of my new patterns I’ve been listening to the fantastic Bach Cello Suites by Paul Tortelier, looking out through the garden doors at the weather. I’ve been at home all day, and I’m quite liking it… I hope to finish this pattern tonight, so I can share it with you soon! It features a heart with a small alphabet, surrounded by blooming branches and a little decorative border.
I’ve got a plan for the living room, where I want to frame a whole set of redword patterns and hang them all together on the wall. This will give me a great excuse to go charity shop hunting for picture frames, and painting them to match the living room!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I want to wish everyone a very happy new year – that it may bring you all happines, health and prosperity. To a great 2014!
