It was A’s birthday last Saturday, and to celebrate we decided to go on a mini-break. We rented the wonderfully restored Peters Tower in Lympstone – a quiet village on the Exe estuary in Devon. We arrived in the afternoon, and with the sunny weather, we couldn’t have been any luckier. We spent the next days walking along the shore, taking trips on our bikes and exploring the surroundings. Devon is surely a beautiful county, and definitely a place that has found a place in my heart! I won’t write too much in this post, but leave you with a set of photos that I took whilst we were there. Part two, to follow, will focus on our stay in London, a couple of days later. But for now, here are the Devon photos!
