Description

One of the most charming symbols in the art of the Pennsylvania Dutch is the Distelfink. This little bird (a European Goldfinch, literally translating as “Thistle-Finch”) is a symbol of good luck. This pattern would make an excellent present for a newly wed couple or a present to a new parent.

This pattern measures 129 in height and width– embroidered over two threads on 32 count linen it would measure approximately 8 1/8” by 8 1/8” (20.5 by 20.5 cm).
