The Darling Buds

It looks like spring has arrived: this afternoon I managed to throw open the garden doors, have tea outside, and pottered about in the garden for a while. I really hope spring stays now, but it’s still early…

Below are some photos I took earlier last week as well, during a particularly nice day in the museum gardens here in York. I just noticed whilst going through these photos, that not only the threads inspired me, but the helleborus that I snapped there did as well. Just look at those amazing colours!
