What a lovely evening! I came home to a cozy warm house, where I had some dinner and then sat down in my comfy chair: cup of tea, cat nearby and my embroidery on my lap. A couple of days ago I made a new pattern, and I really wanted to finish it tonight. And I’m so happy that I have! Whilst the last notes of Puccini’s “La Bohème” left my stereo, I stitched the last crosses of the Nordic Heart pattern. Then all that was left was to iron my work, take some photos, and finish the PDF file. I have just added it to my Etsy shop, and you can purchase the pattern right here!
I think I might add some initials to it, to personalise it – but I haven’t made my mind up yet. What would you do with the pattern? I would love to hear your ideas and suggestions!

We love the new pattern, post and Mira!
Io conoscevo i tuoi ricami che mi piacevano molto per la loro monocromia ed armonia. Ora conosco te. Molto lieta di conoscerti, Jacob.
Grazie Anna Maria! 🙂
This is such a beautiful design, you are so talented! I was wondering if you had any tips on how to cross stitch faster? Thank you so much!! <3
Hi Brittany! Thank you for your kind words! Stitching is quite a reflective past-time, so I don’t know if there are really ways to make it go faster. With experience however you’ll get faster. I tend to ‘sew’ the stitches onto the fabric (keeping the needle at the front of the work nearly all the time). This saves you pulling the thread through to the front and then through the back. I find this an easy and rather quick way. Hope this helps a little. Most importantly though is that you enjoy your stitching! 😀
